Nursing Diversion Programs

Nursing Diversion Programs

Nursing home diversion programs include expanded services through assisted living and memory care as well as increased utilization of home health care.  Implementing any new program will impact a community’s population projection forecasts activity among the various segments of the community’s resident population.  Our projections will demonstrate the population and financial impact of implementing any nursing diversion program within an existing or new community.

State Reports and Filings

The federal government does not regulate CCRCs. CCRCs are regulated in most states. However, there is no uniformity among state regulatory requirements.  Regulatory agencies in most states, typically assigned to a state’s department of insurance (because CCRCs are often classified as an insurance model), monitor CCRCs through periodic disclosure and reporting requirements. Requirements vary from state to state. Continuing Care Actuaries will assist you in meeting your individual state requirements.
